It starts with light.
The ‘Smart Lighting’ service allows you to use the Sustainder Lighting platform to control and configure the Sustainder luminaires remotely. Sustainder luminaires are standard equipped with connectivity and various sensors to enable this. This enables you to immediately see the location of the luminaires in the Sustainder Lighting app via the standard GPS sensor in the luminaires. Due to the ambient light sensor, it is possible to ‘switch‘ the luminaires based on the measured light value.
With the ‘Smart Lighting‘ service, is it possible to simply change the brightness of the luminaires or upload a new dimming schedule? All this is ideal if you want to configure remotely, but do not yet use a management system or operating system.

Sustainder facilitates the transformation of the public lighting network into a sustainable, future-proof and smart infrastructure. We believe that the existing infrastructure of public lighting has ideal properties to act as a carrier of a smart city network. Think of the fine mesh level of the network, the presence of power connection and the ideal height for sensor and communication applications. We therefore believe that many other disciplines within the government should have access to this high-quality network. In the following five themes, we describe how other stakeholders can also have an interest in the transition to a sustainable, future-proof and smart infrastructure.
